Important COVID-19 Information

The situation and updates continue to change with the Coronavirus. We wanted to keep you updated as we continue to change our policies during these difficult times. We are trying to comply as best we can with the stay at home order and still be available for you, our clients.

We will continue with the curbside service we started on March 24, 2020.

For your safety and ours, our staff members will be wearing masks when they interact with you. This is as much to ensure your protection as it is to ensure ours. We will also be asking questions when you make your appointment such as: have you traveled recently, have you been sick, have you been around anyone who has been sick or has COVID-19. If the answers to any of these are yes, we ask that you have someone else bring your pet in for you.

We will not currently be taking appointments just for services such as toenail trims, baths, anal gland expressions etc as these are not considered essential.

If you have an appointment, please stay in your car and call us (540-463-2015) to let us know that you have arrived. We will get any pertinent history over the phone with you, then a staff member will come and get your pet from you in the parking lot and bring them into the building to perform their exams and treatments/tests. The doctor will call you regarding exam findings etc. You may pay over the phone with a credit card or we can come back out to the parking lot to get your payment. If you are not paying with credit card, please try to have correct change so our staff members are not running in and out multiple times. Once we have completed everything, a staff member will bring your pet back out to you. If you do not have a cell phone, please come up and knock on the front door and someone will come to assist you. Please be sure that all dogs are on a leash and all cats are in a carrier.

If you are picking up medicines, please call once you have arrived. We will take your payment over the phone and then bring the medicine outside to you.

If your pet needs to be euthanized - you will be allowed in the building. Please understand that our staff may be in full protective gear, for our safety and yours. Please limit the number of people with the pet to just one.

This is an evolving situation. We understand the great strain it puts on you during an already upsetting time, but please understand we are trying to do the best we can for everyone.

Wait times may be longer than usual as we all try to adjust to these new protocols.

As always, the health of your pets and everyone’s safety are our greatest concern. We will get through this together!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
